A number of folks ask me about the places that I have been; what are my favorites? what was most unexpected? where to next? Compared to some, I am pretty well-traveled, I guess. I like travel and, for twenty years, I enjoyed a career that took me all across this country and to many more. While a girl hates to admit it, I get around…or at least I have just a little bit of wanderlust.

With each trip, I found myself glad to have made those trips and, also, glad to be home again.

I also found with each trip, that the more I traveled, the longer my must-see list would get. There would be the next county over that I just couldn’t squeeze into this trip and would have to put on my list to come back to see “next time”. There would be wonderful stories of “must-see” places shared by fellow travelers. There would be the article in the travel magazine that I picked up because of one specific trip but that included descriptions of some other “must-see” destination as well, or the other chapter in the guide-book of which I was only using a fraction…this time.

The more time I spend away from home, the further behind I get on my list.
